  • Grand Prairie Farming & Water Co. v. Black Farms LLC, 2025 Ark. App. 447 (2025).  The case concerned the premature granting of a summary judgment for the dissolution of a business entity before the completion of necessary discovery as well as issues related to receiverships.
  • KBX, Inc. v. Zero Grade Farms, 2022 Ark. 42, 639 S.W.3d 352 (2022).  The firm litigated this case for almost eight (8) years, prevailing at a Jury trial in 2020 before being reversed in the opinion given by the Arkansas Supreme Court.  The firm represented four (4) groups of farmers seeking to recover damages for unpaid crops from multiple individuals and entities.
  • St. Vincent Medical Group v. Baldwin, 2023 Ark. 151, 675 S.W.3d 862 (2023).  In a class action case, the court assessed the interpretation of the Arkansas Patient Right-to-Know Act regarding its definitions of "existing patients" and "affected patients," clarifying that harm due to noncompliance with the Act is necessary to determine class membership, not mere existence as a patient prior to a physician's relocation.
  • Relyance Bank, N.A. v. Pharr, 2025 Ark.App. 397 (2025) [Still Pending at the Arkansas Supreme Court].  The court evaluated the impact of a bankruptcy filing on the jurisdiction of the circuit court to adjudicate claims, noting that claims stayed by the bankruptcy court remain unresolved, thus affecting the finality of orders for appeal purposes.
  • Hatchett v. Hatchett Bullock Cemetery Association, 2025 Ark. App. 357 (2025).  The case involves the challenge of a quitclaim deed executed by the appellants, which the court found void due to a lack of consideration and the appellants' lack of legal interest in the land on which a family cemetery is situated.  The court granted a permanent injunction against the appellants, enjoining them from marketing gravesites to nonfamily members, burying nonfamily members, and holding themselves out as owners of the cemetery without permission from the appellee Association.
  • St. Vincent Medical Group v. Anderson [Pending at the Arkansas Court of Appeals].

I practice in both litigation and transactional matters, representing clients in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and the Federal Court of Claims. My work spans a wide range of legal issues, and I enjoy the balance of helping clients through disputes as well as guiding them through important real estate, business, and financial transactions.

I graduated from Central Arkansas Christian (CAC) in 2002 before attending the University of Arkansas, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006. I then attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, graduating and passing the bar exam in 2009.

In 2012, I helped establish the firm originally known as Campbell & Grooms, PLLC, which expanded in 2022 to become Campbell, Grooms & Spaulding PLLC.

Over the years, I’ve represented nearly every type of client, individuals, small businesses, trusts, large corporations, banks, title companies, and real estate agencies, among many others. That variety has helped me understand problems from multiple viewpoints and offer practical, well-rounded advice tailored to each client’s needs.

I try to approach every matter with preparation, perspective, and honesty. My goal is to give clients clear and straightforward guidance, whether the news is good or bad, and to help them make informed decisions that will serve them well in the long run. I aim to stay flexible and responsive, adjusting my approach to what each situation requires.

I enjoy staying involved in my community by coaching youth baseball and basketball. When I’m not working, I spend my time with my family or on the golf course, often managing to combine the two.
